i have the nic mah battery can this one be charger with a car battry or something..or a 9v battery does any 1 knwo some tricks

Check for a Metal detecting Club in your area or a Detector Shop. Someone might charge it up for you over night. Sorry I live in North Carolina

Hope you Strike it Rich

In theory you should be able to charge direct from the car battery, the battery being the same voltage 12v, with the car running you should have 13.8-14.1v which is nearly what the charger puts out. A straight forward + to + and - to - . if you try it keep watch, don't let the battery get hot. Depending on the amperage output as to the length of time it will take. I don't wish to scare you but i won't take any responsibility, although i would do it if i was stuck.

If you decide against it and can't find a detector shop willing maybe a model shop( or even anyone flying RC models) that does radio control would do it, it will only take a short while on a RC charger, they are far better than the crap charger that minelab privides with the machine, i got one thanks to Critterhunter and am not only pleased with it i have recovered the cost by recuperating batteries that i though where dead

That sounds like a winner. Model # or manufacturer of charger we should look for?
Thanks,
Cal
