Poppy's Battle...a few pics to...

...put a face to who you guys are praying for.

This is from March 6th when dad and mom came to see Brian before going to the hospital. Initially he wasn't going to take the treatments because of the slim chances of beating his type of leukemia. He said he felt that God wanted him to be home when Brian got there. I think all of us had the same thought too.

I took this picture this evening. The poster behind dad was made by a Sunday school class from our church. Two walls were covered with get well cards.

This my mom. With the exception of being invited out to dinner with a few close friends, she hasn't left dads side. My parents have literally known each other since birth...in the same hospital!! As mom's mom was leaving the hospital, the legend goes, they passed dads mom coming in. They went to school together since kindergarten. Dad never dated anyone other than mom. Myself and one brother were also born in that hospital.

They got some wonderful news today. They may get to go home tomorrow. While I was visiting they took dad down to scan his legs for blood clots and if the report is good they are cleared to leave.

Thank you for praying for them and Brian and us. Also, thanks for praying for Carol's mom.

God bless,

Doug

Thanks for the pictures . Praise GOD he might be going home , that is great news.

Only the love of the Lord is greater than our love for one another, especially, our own family and loved ones! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for answering prayers and for Howard to be able to go home and be with his wife, his grandson, Brian, and each of you! Thanks Doug, for the pics and posts! You and Donna keep us updated and that is wonderful to be able to know how they are and how God is answering prayers for them and each of you! I pray your mom is doing better and will be well and able to visit all of you on Resurrection Sunday, also! Love ya all in Christ's love may His peace and comforting love always be with you! Amen! Gamma & Ma Betty
