Popping in the headphones

Hi friends, would anyone know what causes the popping in ear phones, is it the machine or the headphones?,
my Excalibur is still under warranty so would i need to send it for a repair.

Cheers Maureen..

I've experienced that at times.
I've put it to earphones that are real snug close to the ear and the speaker diaphragm in the earphone creating a popping sound ( going back and forth )due to
vacuum or internal pressure of head movement and shifting of earphone. Water proof earphones are very tight fitting.
Unless its a constant repeatable popping that could be other problem.
Try keeping them looser of let some air in see if that helps..
Hope this works !

Thanks Joel it's good to get a reply,it puts my mind somewhat at rest i will keep an eye on them and yes i will keep them cool.Come to think of it we did have a hot day on the beach that day maybe you are right thanks again.

Cheers Maureen..

Try shaking all the wires coil battery and headphones to see if you get that noise. Hopefully it is something that simple. Don't hesitate to give Minelab a call if your problem continues. Keep us posted. Good luck. HH :minelab:
