Popped this out while testing a detector

You all have been getting me worked up finding all those nice things while I'm working. I needed to make a couple of repairs on a Discovery Electronics Treasure Baron with the Pro Hunter module. These units are very responsive to gold jewelry, so the logical choice for me was to test it out on the beach & wet sand.

We got a lot of crap, plus a few good items. This was found at about 10" in the damp sand. it's 80 points, S2 grade stone. That center stone is worth about $2500..

As anyone who does this a lot knows luck plays a big part in finding valuable items, but the great response the Baron has to gold jewelry certainly helped. I haven't had a chance to hunt much this summer, but me thinks this made up for it.

Great find Bill. What type of stones are the ones on the outside? Hey what can I say, My girlfriend Peggy wanted me to ask. She keeps hitting me saying thats what I need to find. I translated that into meaning, thats what she wants me to find for her. LOL
