pop-up camper help

I found a good deal on a pop up camper. I went to look at it today. It has electric lift on it. The owner went to raise it and the main cable broke about 2 foot from the winch. Has anyone had to replace this cable and if so, how hard is it to replace? TIA

Is this the cable on the winch used to do the lifting (or the power cable)?
Check with someone at a local RV dealership as to what is involved

It's the main cable that attaches to the winch(has power lift). I talked to the lady that is selling it.. Her friend pulled it to his shop.. He ordered a new cable which should take 5 days to get. So, he will be fixing it. That will prob be best.. I'm dealing with the flu plus I work 12+ hours shifts.. with him repairing it .. it will be easier on me. If done right.. I should be buying it next week-end.. I will be needing it before the end on the month for a prospecting trip to N Ga.
