Political statement removal

New member
I deleted the post on the forums pertaining to any political statements, and that includes political statements about detector laws.

We have a forum here at Finds for such post; it

freddie you are nothing but a lair you did not contact me you just come on here and lie about it. do you know what slander is make a online apoligily or risk being sued !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most states have antiquities laws on the books. They have to be enforced to matter. Detecting for clad is not illegal under most of those laws, however, some just plain prohibit searching on state property. Just be discrete, polite, get permission, and don't brag about your finds.

Freddie, how many hits a month does the site get and how many of those post? It may put it in persepective for "angry guy". Or was this the gun-ownership debate? That certainly doesn't apply to metal detecting.

shamber please get your facts straight this post had nothing to do with guns it was about why posts were being deleted about metal detecting laws thats all it did not say what where why or how it was a queston that i thought should be anserwed . then freddy comes on here and lies about saying he contacted me he never did and i can prove it then states that if i wouldve moved it to another foroum if he would have contact like he says i wouldve move instead he banns me and then has the nerve to lie about it. ps what is politiical about asking why metal detecting laws are being deleted thats all

Lets just move on from here.

When I was a teen we could detect anywhere we wanted.

We could stop on tha side of tha road and hunt.

We didn't have to ask permission if we were discrete.

Now, I'm 60

All that has changed.

Cry over spilt milk if you want.

I love metal detectin and want to be positive about it.

Let's not cry in our beer, or what ever we cry in.

The administrator is trying to preserve this forum.

Please support him.

He is trying to help us.

He may not be perfect, but I believe he has good intentions.

You can not detect on any Arkansas state property.

I got over that years ago.

We will never go anywhere, unless we stop cryin over what

can not be redone.

Let's start with a positive attitude.

Now is always a starting point.

Let it be.

,,,, whisper words of wisdom,,,,, " let it be ".

I really do understand some things.

But you are right. I don't understand it all.

I am not sayin that he is right.

I know from experience that a bad administrator or
moderator can really mess up a forum, unless he,or she
is properly dealt with.

If he has made a mistake. Then I hope he has learned
his lesson.

It is OK to state your case. Even though this may not be tha
best place to do that, you have brought attention to your
position.

I hope that if he is not doing his job well, then it will become,
or has become apparent.

That being said.

At this point, should you not let it be, on this venue anyway?

Happy Huntuin,

Tabdog
