Polarizer Test, San Francisco Bay

I shot a number of test pictures using the Moose Peterson Polarizer + 81A filter and the Nikon Polarizing Filter.

This picture was taken with the Moose filter at full polarization. The sun was between 12 and 1 o'clock.
The filter dramatically changed the foreground rocks and removed the blue (sky) cast off of the water. (The Bay water is green). It did darken the sky somewhat. A different sun angle would allow for more poliarization of the sky.
I had shot a number of tests, when 'Security' found me. I 'had' to leave.
The next picture will be with the Nikon Poliarization Filter.
Later, Frank EastBay

I looked at em side by side & zoomed in. Less detail on background bldgs. of the other one. Better color here. Dave
