Pocket watch, Large Cent, and a Merc

Second hunt on a permission that had it's original house date back to 1811 and in about 90 mins found a pocket watch, large cent, and mercury dime along with some wheaties and a bunch of junk... The largie cleaned up real nice for probably being buried 175+ years

Nice finds good to see a date on that largie not so for the one I just found wiped clean!

I love digging largies... I'd even be good with a no date one haha... Details on this one are very good I can't wait to get back there and see what else I can scare up and then in fall hit the fields around the house

Nice 90 minute hunt, nothing better than hunting on unhunted ground with a lot of history, love that large cent. Nice job 81.

Howdy thebigd81--

It sounds like you have a good plan for continuing hunting that site. Very nice finds! Best of luck and...
