Pocket Rocket - Swingy Thingy - 3500

I'm sure you all have heard all the praises on this equipment before, but I would like to sing that song again.

I just returned from the Gold Basin Outing held by Bill Southern at Nugget-Shooter. It was a great time, with some 50-60 people showing up.

This was my first chance in a long time to get a little detecting done and try out the Pocket Rocket system and the new 3500. All I can say is WOW.:clapping:

First the Pocket Rocket is just the greatest innovation to come along in a long time. It's like using and carring no power supply at all. Yet I still see some guys who carry those anchors straped to their back. :sadwalk: Everyone who saw the unit was amazed at the size and weight. And everyone who saw it and held it :yikes: said they were going to get one.

The new Minelab 3500. All I can say here is, what a joy to use this machine. Two things stood out for me almost instantly. The remote ground balance and the ability to tune the threshold almost perfectly.
I was able to tune the 14" Coiltek Mono ( my all time favorite coil )to almost dead quiet operation. I'm anxious to see what Trev will be introducing for 2006 from Coiltek. HoHum, more great innovations!

The last and most underused and overlooked thing I have used for many years now is Doc's Swingy-Thingy. If you are not using it, well I say you are missing out on Doc's best invention. Enough said.

To Doc and Trev, I say keep on coming with your great products. :clapping: You are making it easier every day to insure the average guy to find a little of that Good Stuff!

I am not retired but completely agree; the swingy-thingy
is a perfect way to make sure you can keep on working!
If you have not tried it you are in for a treat.

Good products just don't drop off trees. They all take an inventive mind.:nerd: The only thing I have invented is ways to get out of work!:yo::thumbup:
