I see that the rules say that after 90 days and so many posts you can sell a metal detector. Is that the same for someone like me to buy one? I saw one that I would like to buy and I could not even PM the owner.

No, you have to have some more time on the forum before your pm system comes online.
Just one of the rules.
Who do you want to contact?
Maybe put down the info and get a new, temporary e mail and post that too then either post it in the sellers thread or let us know here and someone can be the go between.

Grayrider, the Vaquero is a very good machine, and the black one, arguably the better looking. Same Tesoro as the gray one, just in black.

Outlaw is a different animal. Almost as deep as Vaquero in my soil but with a different carachter... Outlaw is the better coin and jewelery machine, if you ask me...especially in trashy spots with lots of bottlecaps and pulltabs. Outlaw is also a bit more versatile, coming with the 3 coil package. All three of those coils are great at what they're intended for; 5.75" and 8" are my favorites. The 8" stays on my Outlaw, and I keep the 5.75" on a Bandido II μMAX, full time. Both of those are presently my most used Tesoros.
