Plugger's detector stands

Does anyone use Plugger's detector stands on their GT? I am looking for something that will keep the control box off the ground when the machine is set down. I have read and they are made of pvc and supposedly snap on the rod anywhere that you want to place it. I just ordered some toggle switch boots from Mouser electronics last night. I found an old post on these from Earthlypotluck....thanks, good info there on those. I am in the process of getting my GT mildly "customized" with a few add ons that will be beneficial to the use and protection of the detector. Thanks!

yes Pluggers stand works great, you have Two options, to just clip the stand on (with no screw)

or you can drill a small hole and add a screw to keep the stand from moving on you....... good luck
