...Brian is eating us out of house and home!! We're now down to two bedrooms and I have to sleep on the porch!! Maybe I need to build a doghouse because we've had unusual weather here the last couple of days. Some of the old timers tell me it's called rain.

Brian is really improving and is back to his old self. It's great to see him eating and laughing again. And the chatter is almost non-stop...I guess he has a lot of making up to do.

The rod in his left femur has protruded out of his bone near his knee causing excruciating pain when he tries to straighten it. The leg muscles catch on the rod. Surgery is scheduled for NOv 28th to cut off that portion of the rod. It will be a simple one day surgery, surgery in the morning and should be home by noon.

Hopefully we'll get enough rain to soften up the ground some because with the cooler temps I'm itching to go digging.

Hope all are well,

Liver, squid, and snails on the way! See if he likes that stuff! :puke:
Prayers on the way for that leg/rod issue! OUCH!!!!!
Glad you are getting rain and hope you get to dig! :)

I'm guess what he likes best to eat is something that starts with F, ends in D and has double O's in the middle.

Do you have a chicken farmer near by? If ya run out of food ya might want to warn him before hand not to shoot at the one stirring up the chickens....could be Brian after the eggs

That rod sounds painful just having a rod let alone it protruding...bet it hurts worse (and certainly more often) than when I took that nose dive over the child gate and ended up with 264 pounds crashing down on the knee cap.

I'm not sure but think God loves - actually know He loves me not sure why He does. I say that cuz the knee feels fairly good considering. Even my broken toe seems to be getting better and little pain. Even where I scraped the skin off my ankle from the fall down the porch steps is less painful.

I hope you and even Brian can get out and do some digging soon. I know you guys have gone through a lot and ya need some 'diggin' time' to relax with. Keeping you all in our prayers here.
