...for Brian. And us! The tumor under his chin is the size of a golf ball so surgery is in the near future. This is the first time tumor has grown under his chin. He isn't in any pain though. We hope we'll be able to wait until Christmas break so he won't miss more school but we'll see what his doc thinks.

Thanks to all who are praying for Brian regularly, we really need and appreciate it. This has been a really rough year for him and we hope it is only due to a growth spurt. Maybe next year won't be as bad. God has been with us through it all and we know He will be with us in the future.

Thanks you guys so much for putting up with me over the past year. I haven't had many opportunities to detect much and haven't participated on the forum as regular as I used too, but I have been praying for the requests that are posted. It is a real blessing to me to read all the praises that are posted here.

we know that you are going thru a lot and understand you can't spend time on the net, when your son needs you. We all appreciate your prayers for us and our requests. We can only imagine what Doug must be going thru himself. So let's just say this to each other. We will pray for each other and be there for each other as the Lord has told us to be. And as we do that for each other God will bless us both. I also have a lot going on but when I read your cheerful praise reports and see the progress that he makes, well my problems don't seem so bad. Thank you for your support and prayers. He is an inspiration to me. That poor kid has been through so much in his life. I hope one day to have his strength. Me and everyone else on this forum should think twice before we complain about the "troubles" we think we have in our lives... and simply thank God for every day He's given us. The good and the bad.
