I am looking in to purchasing another water detector. I have a Minelabs Excal II and LOVE IT! Looking into buying a back up water machine. Anybody who can give advice I would be grateful. Which would you recommend to purchase as a backup?

1) Another Minelabs Excal II

2) Garrett Infinium

3) Whites Dual field Pulse machine

4) Whites Beach hunter ID 300

5) other

Please feel free to give me the skinny. I am up north in MA.

Thanks for your suggestions.

I would purchase a pulse machine... you will get extra depth a VLF isn't going to give you...

Dual Field or HH PI. There is a hell of a bargain for a HH PI in the classifieds. If you dive or go deep then it should be the dual field. Why get another VLF? You already have one of the best.
