Please Help With Coinstrike Information

Prospector

New member
I am in the process of buying a new detector. I plan to use it at freshwater beaches for coins and jewerly and around old home sites and parks. How would a Coinstrike do for these purposes and could someone give me an idea of depth. I know that depth is dependant of soil conditions, but in average terms what is expected depth on penny, nickel, dime, quarter. I really need to hear from those who have used one. Also, what are my coil options? I am also considering a Minelab X-terra 30, how does the Coinstrike compare? I would appreciate any information.

I have used both, and the Xterra 30's a very good entry level (Maybe a little better than that) does not compare to the Coinstrike.
Pm me if you want a run down on my experience with the coinstrike...(Just so you know it is a good one)

Also the I D Edge is good...You can find good deals on used Edges, I have one and use the 6" coil most of the time.

The X-30 is pre set ground balance. I had all of the X-Terra's, no more for me.

I also use the CZ 3d,CZ 5, and the CZ 70.....In my soil, a CZ and a 5" coil,,,9" coins are not a problem.
