Found this button on a possible union CW site. cannot find it anywhere. Any help would be great. thanx MikeE
 
I found one that i think is just like it, but mind had a back of some sort, I think mine was a old dress button. but that's just guessing what mine was.
 
Also looks like the little wheel on the wick adjuster from an oil lamp...broken off from the shaft.

Based on the old house site where i found mine, 'no electricity, that makes a lot of sense.
