I found this with my x70 at a house built in the late 1700's. Appears to be made of the lead because a magnet will not stick to it. I don't think it is brass because it does not clean up like brass does. Appears to be a figure of a business man with some type of object in his hand, maybe an umbrella or cane or sword. He looks like he is wearing a hat and a tie that looks very mid century. 1940-1960s. They would use it to print ads.

thank u for your reply ibelieve it is muuch older than 1940 or 1960 it is not flat so idont believe it was used to type print than u 4 your info would aappreciate more info if u could come up with any thank u
 
Your item is positively a printers block the little rust spots used to be nails that held it to a wood block. The picture is a little fuzzy but it looks to be of the 1920s we dig them every once in a while. Not much of a value on most though.
