Please help me find settings that work well for SE in Va soil?

I live in Utah and have not had much luck finding coins deeper than 5-6 inches with Minelab SE. What are some good settings that work well in VA soil for relics & coins?
 
I see you live in Utah but ask about VA soil, what does VA stand for?

Do you have Andy's book? I use Bryce's setting on my SE Pro and last night I found pennies at 9 and 10 inches.

I think only the sensitivity button may need to be adjusted for different types of soil.
