Please help me decide between a beachhunter and a surf PI Pro??!!

I am trying to find a good water unit that I can use now in sand, and salt water, but in the future use on land, and fresh water as well. The problem is that the Beachhunter and Surf PI Pro are different technologies and I do not really understand the pro's and con's of each.

Please help, and information would be great,

Go with either a BeachhunterID or an Excalibur, I use a PI but only in the wet.. its not a good choice for dry sand or land... too much trash.
