Found in a ghosttown called Scottsville
PA along with a 1838 large cent
 
Hopefully I got a lead on the origin of this pin. Will keep whoever wants to know up-to-date.
 
Just as curious as you are. It sure looks like an awesome find. Ive got at least a couple items might be worth a little something if they were not so unusual noboby has ever seen anything like them. Keep researching though because it can pay off.
