I'm in NE Florida and know absolutely nothing about this fascinating hobby. I just bought a MXT and have "The MXT Edge" book ordered. I have read posts about a "Bigfoot" search coil. Who makes it and where can I get one?? I will likely spend a lot of time searching on the beaches here, so ANY information, suggestions, tips, etc will be a great help!

You can buy the Bigfoot coil through your local White's dealers. It can also be ordered on line through Jimmy Sierra Products who is the manufacturer. I think you will really like it! Mike
 
The Big Foot coils is the perfect coil for detecting beaches, etc. IMHO.
Good luck and you might want to check the forums "for sale items" also.

Coils are made for many machines and they aren't usually compatible with other machines such as Whites, Fisher, Mindlab, etc. Usually MXT and DFX coils are compatible. They should say in the ads.
