please give me help with original eldorado I just purchased

hi there everybody! I recently purchased a tesoro edorado metal detector. It's the original one. I am disabled and wanted to try a new thing and have a very limited income. I paid 210.00 dollars for it no extras but in near mint condition. Did I get a good deal? Is this a good detector? Is it easy to use? And most of all does anyone know of a video online that shows how to adjust and use it? It came with the owners manual but I'm kind of the "show me once and I get it " type of person. Any info out there would be so very appreciated by me. Thankyou! from goldandsilvergal.

I googled in tesoro eldorado videos and got several hits do the same and see if they are what you want.

One of the best things about your deal is that Tesoro really stands by their detectors. In near mint condition, good price. Yes it's a good detector design and can get very good results. Fairly easy to set up and use as long as you learn what the controls do.

Read the manual and do the google that Woodchuck suggests.

Drop some coins on the ground and try the detector. See how it responds as you change settings (as the manual talks about or videos show).

The most important things about detecting and finding good targets (besides just liking to hunt) is finding promising places to hunt and learning the detector. Really learning the detector takes many hours and the best practice is to hunt with it, make observations and ask questions, think, observe, and ask more questions.

Welcome aboard here! Wish you best of luck in detecting!!
Cheers,
tvr
