hi my name is shane.i have a bounty hunter 505 now.i was thinking about getting a garret 350.i was just wondering if you have one could you give me your opion on the machine, its the only one in my price range and want a good sold opion on it,thanks very much

It's a good solid machine, as is the Ace 250 also.. But I don't know anything about the BH 505, so wouldn't
have a clue how they compare. The Ace 250's ID scale is more tailored to coins. The Ace 350's ID scale is
a bit more tailored to relic hunting. And the 350 has the DD, where the 250 has the concentric coil.
I have a Ace 250 myself.. It's been a real good machine, and I've had it about 7 years. I use the 9x12, the 6x9
stock coil, and the 4.5 inch sniper coil.

I couldn't agree more. If coin and jewelry hunting is your thing, then definitely get the Ace 250 and a Sniper search coil. My wife runs circles around me with hers.:garrett::twodetecting:

Best of luck to ya! Happy Hunting!:)

I don't have the 250 or 350, but agree the 250 would be a nice unit for coins and jewelry. A member of our church bought the ace-250 with the sniper coil and is well pleased.

With the savings on getting the 250, you might be able to get a Pro-Pointer too. That's a big help.

John

Yep the 250 is a terrific machine,
