whether the solder residue from the lost device (between the lost wreaths) can be identified in old english script or otherwise. I found this plate with my trusty MXT, and I believe the militia belt plate to be immediately prewar, in Louisiana. Let me know if you can make anything out. It's easier with the real plate in your hand! Thanks.
