Playing in the dirt

The weather has been fantastic the past few days, even played hooky from work today to get some hunting in. This is some of my finds from the last couple of hunts. The locket is gold plated and the Merc is a 34. The oldest wheat is a 1911. Maybe someone can help me put a date on the old sparkplug

The red roadster and what is left of an ambulance are early 1940's Midgetoys made in Rockford, IL. They sold for 10 cents at the time.

The plug is called a spark plug core. They were made at least from the teens through the 1940's, maybe earlier and or later than the dates I found. Here are a couple examples.
