today I was hunting at an older home and I got a whisper signal, and it locked on pretty well going back and forth between 42-44. I thought I had a deep silver, my detector showed 4 arrows on the depth meter, and it was about 7" deep, I saw the shiny round object in the hole and I thought I had a silver quarter

turned out to be aluminum play money, what a let down

makes me wish they never made this stuff...lol

Most uncle sam coins are worth more than their silver counterpart..

I have found two different ones. I actuallu like finding them different and unique. One of min says 'one thin dime". The other just says "Play money". I dunno better than clad for sure, Beale.
