Platypus...

You guys think this new coil may be a good alternative to the stock 10". Maybe better performance, or too soon to tell?

If it's much lighter and anywhere close to the stock coil I think it will be popular. I'm curious how it will do in iron so I might have to buy one to try.

I know the stock coil is too heavy and not balanced good either, so I have to try one of the new Platypus coils as the WOT is too big for my hunting. My main coil has been the Joey, so I feel the Platypus will give me more ground coverage and depth, I think it will be a very popular coil once some of us are able to get one in our hands and use it.

I'll hurry up and wait like you guys. Thanks for the input. Who knows, maybe we may find a better mousetrap soon. <IMG SRC="/metal/html/flag.jpg" BORDER=0 width=32 height=17 ALT="usa~"> <IMG SRC="/metal/html/csflag.gif" BORDER=0 width=22 height=15 ALT="::"> <IMG SRC="/metal/html/ml.gif" BORDER=0 width=30 height=15 ALT="m~">
