Howdy folks, i just made a deal for a BH Platinum with the 8" round concentric coil. Are there any Smaller 4"-5" coils, preferably DD, available for them? Any info on them Appreciated as well as i am not familiar with them. Thanks.

dont bother other coils, just hover the round stock coil above ground in trashy to focus the cone of the field to seperate.. idk about the 10 since it has a ground balance tho...

Thanks for the reply. That is ok in open areas but i want a smaller coil to get in closer in tight areas as well.

Hi Rebel 1, what has happened to the Platinum? Don,t here much about them any more. I was think of trying one but everything just stop on them. Someone said they were very good on dry sand beach. Every one is keeping quite about them. I would like to here if they are good or bad. On the coil see if some of the Fisher F coils will work on it. Flintstone

Flintstone. The Platinum is pretty much the same machine as the Teknetics Gamma 6000. It is a really nice machine. I have found a source for a 5" DD coil for it. The Older Fisher F5 coils with the plug in connector will also work on it. I still see a few places carry them for $299. Stay away from Cabela's though as they get $529 for the same machine. Try it, you'll like it. haha
