Platinum stamp

I forgot one more important stamp. I dug this chain - looks like dirty silver or maybe junk.

You can see the stamp slightly. If one doesnt know their stamps one might think it's a junk name. But with a magnifier - as in the pic- you see PT clearly. That's platinum, the atomic symbol. Sometimes it's the complete name Platinum, sometimes just Plat. Sometimes there's 2-4 numbers with the Plat. Here's a link to a Platinum site for future reference. Check em all !! Steve in so az

At least do an article for one of the MD mags... put together a couple of your posts and you're done :) What the heck are you doing in the afternoon anyway when it's over a 100 degrees??? :lol: (gonna be in the 60's tomorrow morning when I hunt near my church) :poke:
