like any other metal the bigger the piece of metal it is the higher the number ... small woman's will be lower and a huge honking mans will be a good deal higher
What surfchunker said...they sound pretty much like a gold one of a similar size...if you are hunting around docks and getting stainless steel washers and nuts and bolts, thats good...i've only found 2 so far...and they were both mid sized in the plus 10gr realm...they sounded just like a gold one to me...

Hey diggervance...go check out a recent post on the Xterra Forum by petew '705 for Park gold'
Theres a vid posted by psyvad, and a picture of gold and plat rings with TIDS posted by bob.oz....you are going to want to read this post and study that picture a bit...you might even want to PM HighPlainsHunter and ask for a copy of his book regarding this topic...all are 'must reads' for gold/plat hunters no matter what rig they run..
