platinum ring!!!!

OK so I hit 2 schools with a friend on Sunday, I used my bounty hunter pioneer 505, and he used my garrett pin pointer. The first school we found a lot of pencil tops and a little clad in the playground area. Both schools had a bunch if trash (pulltabs, cans, random wires) i put some trash i found in the picture. The second school we lifted all the bleechers around a football field found some clad kept searching and that's when I found it. It came up as a pull tab, gave a sketchy and iffy signal, A platinum ring, its small but super heavy and it says "plat." on the inside. I looks like some one dropped it and it got ate up by a lawn mower. Oh man am i excited, its my second peice of jewelry even though it is messed up. I'd say this is my vest find yet seeing that platinum is nearing 1500 an ounce. Thanks for looking.

Congratulations! Yep that's a trophy...especially on the dirt, most plats are found in the water, theres been a few posted though..Good job!

Congrats! I have only found 1 platinum ring in all the time I have been detecting both land & water. Like yours, my ring was found in the outfield of a ball diamond & was a dead on pulltab number.

Nice find.
Its now shaped like the Bermuda Triangle.
Have a Jeweler straighten it for a few dollars.

Thanks you guys, I've been digging up all trash signals trying not to discriminate anything. That is the hardest part about this hobby but it paid off and I'm pretty sure it will pay off again since gold and platinum ring up as trash signals. Thanks for looking.
