Platinum Ring ID

A friend has lost his Platinum wedding band at the T-Ball practice field and has asked me to help him find it, told him I would. I figured my XT50 should hit the wedding band at about a 3 to 6, is this about right? I have found several gold rings that came in from 6 to 12 but think Platinum would be alot lower. Thanks for any help, I'll be searching for it this weekend since it's a school ground and can't hunt there during the week. I will using my 6"HF DD coil. HH

I think you're right John, you'll be looking for foil. Just hope that there isn't a lot of foil in that area. But if it's a new drop, it should be near the surface and I think you could cut the sensitivity back.

Good Luck on finding her!
