Platinum Earing - Treasure Hunter

New member
My wife lost a platinum diamon earing in the back yard while painting the fence. I bought a Bounty Hunter Treasure Hunter and used the other one to see if it would pick it up to see if I could figure out what to look for. I can not seem to get the Treasure Hunter to detect it. Does this model detect Platinum? Are there any tricks, I tried everything, I think!

Regards,

Mark Smith

If the earing was not lost too long ago, turn the SENS down to only about a quarter turn, and turn the DISC all the way down (CCW)...try your test again...it will most likely only opick up the object at 3 inches or less from the coil...
If this works, when your actually looking for the item, keep the coil as close to the ground as possible...Remember, the coil must be in constant motion...

Hope this helps,
