"PLAT" ring update

I went to two jewelry stores to have my PLAT ring checked out (see my earlier post). I turns out that although it's a very good diamond, it's smaller than I thought. The center diamond is about a 1/2 karat. The side diamonds add up to about a 1/3 of a karat. All in all it's about a $3000. ring. By far this is my best find ever. And to think I thought is was junk. Thanks everyone for the positive feedback. It's great to have a forum to share your finds with fellow detectorists. I really enjoy seeing what everyone else finds, even when the finds aren't the treasures we want. HH.
