Plans for the Garrett Ace 350

Plan on doing more detecting than fishing this year on vacation. I just picked up a RTG scoop it was a long time coming 20 days. I found a nice men's wedding band last year and my hope is to duplicate. The band is what influenced me to buy a metal detector. I borrowed my bosses dfx that is a gold hound. I know that the Ace 350 is not tops when it comes to beach and water detecting but, I would still like to give it whirl. If anyone has been successful at the beach with their Ace 350 I would covet any advice that could make the venture a fruitful one thanks in advance. George S

With the Ace 350 your best chances will be the dry sand. The wet sand will be hard, if not impossible to md with the 350; however, if you lower the sensitivity enough it may work to some extent. GL and HH

No experience with the Ace 350, but the GTI-2500 does great in jewelry mode as long as you can keep the housing out of the water. Hope to see you post some great finds soon. HH.
