Planning to MD In Richmond, VA Area

I plan to be in the Richmond, VA area (mainly Glen Allen, VA) soon and would like to know if there are any of you who live in that area that can give me some advice as to whether detecting is allowed on public school property or in public parks. Are there any other locations that are available that you would recommend?

have you checked the Richmond city website? Most cities have websites nowadays, as you know. And on there, you'll usually find the city's laws, codes, and so forth. And the parks dept. might have a sub-heading, with sections specific to parks rules (hours of operation, dogs on leash only, fires in fire-rings only, and so forth). You can do a word search on "metal detectors" or "detecting" and so forth.

If there's no rules prohibiting metal detecting, then it must not be dis-allowed.

RICHMOND VA? highest crime rate in VA .good luck
