After finds started running thin at my favorite honey hole i decided to take a few road trips to some other swimming areas... at 1st lake i found a cool headlamp thingy in the parking lot ,also found a few junk earings and stainless clasp earing-not pictured... 2nd pond is an old swim area dates back to the 1930s..i found a little orphan annie ring there,a wheaty and modern clad... 3rd stop was my go to honey hole ..found more targets there than i expected...found the usual junk earings, a 10k stud earing and a cool gold looking earing that im quite certain is gold but cant find the marking..[attachment 323271 20151129_1938221.jpg][attachment 323272 IMG_20151129_1909143241.jpg][attachment 323273 IMG_20151129_1910202551.jpg][attachment 323274 IMG_20151129_1910498691.jpg] happy hunting...

You think the headlamp is from a night hunter?
WTG on the gold and silver....you have to be a diehard MDer to pursue this hobby like you and others up north do with the temps dropping. Get it while you can, good luck.

Thanks scott..i will try and post pic of ring after i clean it..... thanks bob.. there are hunter's in this park but the light was probably lost by an early morning hiker or jogger.. 2 out the last 3 hunts didnt require me to get into the water due to lowered water levels. .. however the gold was found at my go to lake, and yes the water is cold but it was a nice clear sunny day with little to no wind...only my hands get cold...i might try wearing some heavy wool socks on my hands to see if that helps..... sure wished my waders didnt leak..lol..
