Plain Colonial Button - Can you tell me about this backmark?

Anyone seen a backmark like this. Eagle with drooped wings and 7 stars. Its a small button with a plain front. About 3/4 inch diameter.

Found this today. Was out for a few hours. Please dont ban me from the forum, I found it with another leading brand detector. :(

I had to see how I could do with this "other": detector.

Those buttons are cool & I have a few like it. I kinda wanna say it's more like early 1800's to say 1830's maybe rather than colonial....
There may be some info in my Alberts book at home, or the Tice book has it probably.....
 
I think I remember finding some like that at a site where I pulled some War of 1812 buttons.May be from that era.Dave
