After Saturdays miserable showing, I hit three big play areas that I had found along the way, on the first there was some sort of Boys baseball playoff going on, and in the second, a major soccer event, the third, was another soccerfield/schoolyard kind of deal with adult pick up games and whatnot...
Sunday am I was right on location at the BB playoff at 5:30...cans galore! I always have a big plastic yard bag in the rig for times like this, so I furiously raced around from one garbage can to the next, spilled them out, grabbed all the redeemable cans, repacked the trash, got $12.30 in empties in about 20 minutes, then, I hit where the vendors were set up, fired up the F70, it was nice, lots of Q's...just highgraded...got 10.58..[attachment291605mem2.jpg]
Today I started back to the BB playoff place, where I found half a PapaJohns pizza still in the box, and 3/4 of a box of Cheesezits..not many empties, (evidently a cannie beat me to them)....the pizza was good cold, but the cheesezits were damp and unsatisfactory, being open all night as they were, holding to tradition, I ate some and washed it all down with some half bottles of gatorade that were conveniently laying all over the place!...the grass was so wet Sun, my shoes, socks, and pantlegs were soaked, water slinging off the F70's coil as if it was hooked up to a garden hose, even though I had backup shoes and socks in my rig, who wants to waste time doing a changeout? Heck, that takes more time than ground balance!
Today I wore shorts and flipflops...got a nice 10x10 popup! Somebody got frustrated trying to dismantle it and left it there! I'll get an easy 20 bucks for this at a garage sale![attachment 291607 mem1.jpg]
I headed on over to the soccerfield/school area...got the JFK half there and a bunch more clad..then the Sun came out and I was home by 10...[attachment 291612 mem14.jpg]
So I knocked down 20.70 in clad Sunday and today,, maybe 5 from Sat, 12.30 in cans, and a tent...which is about all a guy needs for a weekend...
