Pitting my AT Pro VS 1500 GTI 9.5 coil for beach hunting

Soon after Turkey Day leaving Pa. for the Gulf Beaches for abt 3 months. Usually take the 250 Ace instead of the 1500. But the beaches just seem too vast for the Yellow Fella. This is going to be our 3rd yr. on the Gulf, and I haven't had any problems with bad sand yet. I did find 2 very nice Gold rings and some silver last yr, but I put in allot of time doing it. Guess I still have alot to learn about beach & water hunting. Of course the Pro will handle all water hunting, but I'm looking forward to matching the 1500 against the Pro on the sand. I sifted a little over 740 coins off the beach last yr. [2 mons] And man it was like - throw a party when you find a Q. Place seemed mostly salt rotted pennies & rusty beer lids. I'm sure the 1500 will cut down on the deep Alum. cans that are all over also. Well thats all I got for now.
