Pistol Probe needs button switch mod - anyone do this?

The button on top is ridiculously hard to depress in cold weather with gloves. Before I attempt any modification Im trying to find if someone has a mod for this. The design should have been as easy to work as the Garrett ProPointer. Nice probe the Detector Pro but because of the button switch on top being a pain it is my backup.
