WOW , Great Looking Find. Can you tell us a little about it ?

It apears to be copper ,ive taken it to a jeweler and he told me he believes it is not pre 1800s.it looks like it has in very small print the word Italy on it , but not sure .
on the back it doesnt appear to have much other than a circle . it appears to be made of a leaf or plant ,with 3 to 4 symbols mixed in .the symbols are all the same ,it looks like an X on its side with a line at each end .behind the mans head on the front is a women who appears to have a long gown or dress on . her hands together above her head like peterpan flying . o yea she has angle type wings.
does eneybody sugjest trying to have a profesional clean this up .(it may show something !.)
