Pirate Ship "The Whydah"

Mat in MA

Member
The Whydah is the only pirate ship to ever be recovered in U.S. waters and is sunk in only 25 feet of water off the coast of Cape Cod.

If you missed the show on National Geographic channel yesterday you can still see what they've been bringing up by going to the web site at http://whydah.com/

The site has videos and interviews you can watch that show you what treasure is/has been brought up. A lot of treasure from this ship is still appearing on the shores of Cape Cod in the form of coins and small artifacts, but you have to be careful as it is a National Seashore and you can not use metal detectors.

Wish I had caught the special on TV. I don't think I've ever heard this ship spoken of before. It will be interesting to see what all eventually comes from that ole' wreck.

Thanks again.
