pioneer 505 question

dufus

New member
i got a 505 i am going to give to my grand daughter, that i used once myself, and find it to be a competent little detector. when i first got it, and was reading about it online, someone said it was the basically same detector as one of the fishers as first texas makes both. does anybody know which fisher it is compatable to?????

Hello dufus;
From 505ranger
The B.H 505 is nothing like any of the Fisher detectors, at least externally. The B.H.3300 and Fisher F4 look and function some what the same except the Fisher F4 uses a DD TYPE searchcoil and also the disc touchpads on the F4 also function as threshold adjustments,so the F4 can be used as both a silent search detector or it can have a little background hum from adjusting the threshold.Also the F4 has an aluminum notch segment as whree the
B.H.3300 does not.
I hope this helped HAPPY HUTING .505ranger.
By the way i have a 505 also and its a very very good machine!
