pinpointing

Hi all when i pinpoint on my garrett ace 250 where is center in that little notch just ahead where the coil is fixed to the down tube

thanks Larry

On shallow targets the hotspot is the center tip of the inside oval on the coil. Deeper coins will be slightly behind that point.

Larry,

if you wish to use "center" a pinpointing method.... then yes, the center is right at the forward edge of the "U" shaped notch where the shaft connects to the coil. Simply take a ruler and measure it and you'll see.
