Pinpointing

A Newby question - when pinpointing, when target is centered on the gauge, exactly where on the coil or under what part of the coil should the target be?? I have been very erratic targeting and digging my targets. Thanks

Mike

have you ever saw this video I made to help with pinpointing?

Hey Goes4ever,

Thanks for that suggestion! I'll give it a try. I think that most areas I hunt are very trashy. So, likely using the Pinpoint I may very well be spotting trash adjacent to good target as you described.

Thanks again,
Mike in TN

G4e,

I went out hunting today and utilized your method to pinpoint. I found it to be FAR more accurate than using the Etrac pinpoint.

Oh BTW, I went to Youtube and subscribed to your channel. I enjoyed watching your vids. Since I am a newby, I look forward to all your future vids - especially those that offer how-to advice for folks less experienced like me!!

Thanks again,
Mike in TN
