Pinpointing

I've been beach hunting for about three days in So Cal and being from Utah, it is a new experience. I've had my Safari for a week now. My first trip on the beach was pretty unproductive. I figured out that I had to slow down my swing and the next two hunts were better (not great), but I did dig more targets. What I am struggling with is pinpointing. Still haven't figured it out yet and consequently, I am digging holes that are way too big. Any suggstions?

I made a video on how to pinpoint with the etrac without using the pinpoint button......dont have the link right now. Because I am on my ipad, but if you go to youtube and go to my page it is same user name as I use here, goes4ever. Look at my video caaled how to pinpoint the etrac, it has helped a lot of people

This will not help you much right now but 6X8 works great on beaches and you never have to touch pinpoint button again.Have you bought a hand held pinpointer yet?It was great to use on Outer Banks NC.I use a Garret.
