PINPOINTING

When pinpointing with the 10.5" coil on the CZ7A, where is the sweet spot? Is it in the open spot like on the 8" coil? I am always off on my pinpoint with the 10.5" i do OK with the 8". Dose anyone know what it cost to have a CZ turned? I might send it in to get it turned.

It should be dead center of the coil. Just forward of the shaft. If you turn your machine on and hit PP. Then take a target and slowly move it across the coil. You will notice that it starts to sound off on the center "Oval" and not the outer ring. Because of this. You can wiggle the coil back and PP right off the toe of the coil. Hope this helps some
