pinpointing

Hello everyone,i am happy with my spectra v3,but has anyone got any hints on pinpointing.
I have the v.c.o audio on when pinpointing too get the loudest signal over the target,i am using the 5.3 eclipse coil, but i am thinking when you do pinpoint a target, its not right in the center,i got a feeling its on the outer part of the coil.
And another thing, when i do think i have pinpointed it,it seems the hole is getting wider and wider, like the target drifts. But testing i am thinking the center of the target is on the outer part of the coil, not sure though, can someone please help me,thanks.

do an air pin point over your target find the strongest signal from left to right then do the same making an x and check to where your target pin points the strongest on your coil this will give you the sweet spot for your coil since you are using the 5.3 concentric coil it should be just in front of the coil bracket.

hope this helps
