Pinpointing X-1 ?

I have always had trouble pinpointing, was told to get and X-1 or something like that, i have the XS so how do I get the equipment to add on to the XS to increase my PP ability. I am in Idaho. I have had the XS for about 8 months now and it is a fantastic piece of equipment but not really impressed with PP, am gettng ok with practice but still not good, am getting old now and hearing is probably clipping the high frequencies and the lows, so my PP accuracy is probably being affected by my hearing, not the machine. Any help on what equipment I need and where I can find it would be greatly appreciated. Ken

Ken,
Here is the link to our X-1 probe page on our new website. E-mail me if you have any questions. Thank you.

Have you ever adjusted your threshold tone? Maybe you can get it to a level that you can hear a little better. you can adjust it up or down. I have mine as low as it will go and it lowers the pinpoint tone as well.
